So this is the picture. Nathan is making a pretty funny face, but oh well. This was on the fourth of July last year. We were doing sparklers and fireworks (yes before dark, before bedtime) with our friends in Cedar City. Nathan had lots of fun with the sparklers but absolutely hated the little popper things that you throw at the ground. He was so scared of them and would not even touch one. He has always HATED loud sounds, so the poppers and fireworks weren't much fun for him. Well that is the story behind the picture. Did you notice how blond his hair is?! I didn't realize that it is so much darker now! I hope it gets light again like that this summer!

I was scared of those sparkler things for WAY too long. Cute Nathan, we love that kid.
