Just a quick post to let everyone know we are moved in to our apartment in Manchester (just west of St. Louis) now and doing well. It took us about 25 hours, with the hour time difference, to get here. Nathan did so good on the drive, even though our dvd player stopped working after only about four hours!! Yeah we were pretty worried and upset when it stopped working, but we made it through. Josh and I listened to the Twilight series on the drive, so that helped time go by for us. (We are listening to the second book now and Josh is pretty into it! I have already read the books but I'm still loving it.) We drove through the night, with a three hour sleeping break, so that helped with Nathan sleeping the whole night. The worst part of the drive for Josh and I was the last few hours from Kansas City to here. It felt like it was never going to end! When we were unloading everything a couple neighbors offered to help, which was really great because we had to take it all up three flights of stairs. Yeah Josh was pretty beat that night and the next day (I was too even though I didn't do much because Nathan woke up halfway through unloading). We are finished unpacking, except all the decorations and stuff for the walls, which Josh is really dreading helping me with. It's so nice to not be living out of our bags and boxes anymore. So anyway we are here and doing well so far. I am so glad Josh doesn't start school for a few weeks so we can get to know the area a little better and have some fun too. We have gotten lost driving around a few times, but I guess that is a good way to get familiar with everything! I don't think I will be driving around to too many places for a while, but maybe eventually...hopefully! Well hopefully I will get some pictures taken of the apartment and area soon and then I will post them. We are also planning on going to the zoo on thursday so I will take pics then too. Well I want to get back to listening to New Moon so bye for now!

You made it! It is so good to hear from you guys. Sounds like things are going good for you guys. I am glad you have some neighbors that helped you unload everything especially with all those stairs you had to go up! We have been missing you guys like crazy here but have been very excited for you too! What a neat experience you guys get to go through. Thanks for the post.
Hey! I am REALLY glad you guys made it safe. I am happy we have blogging to keep in touch!! Good luck with this new adventure."The joy of life comes from out encounters with new experience"
Missed you at the Wayne County Fair, but guess what? It was the same as always! Ha ha
Wow, I can't believe Nathan was so good even with the dvd player not working. You guys made it there quick. Glad you're there safe and sound and I feel for you having to live three stories up. I always dreaded grocery shopping when we lived in South Gate and we were only on the second floor.
Alright! Glad to hear that you got there safe and things went relatively well. We have yet to have a smooth trip, but have had many as good as yours. For me, it is always fun starting out in a knew place. If I am not in a hurry I will say, "Lets find out if this road goes where we need it to go."
I might seem scary in a lot of ways being there, but I think you all will do great. I will try checking your blog more regularly, I am new to these blog things.
Love you all,
Kristina and Jeff
