Once again we have been super busy lately. I guess that is expected when you are moving. It is so sad and crazy how soon we are leaving, but the plans are to leave on Wednesday night or Thursday morning. It makes me so sad to think about leaving family and friends, and I dread the next few days when we have to say our goodbyes. It will be an emotional week...I'm already starting to cry now just thinking about it. It takes 21 hours driving there, plus all the extra stops we will have to make. Yeah I really have no idea how to keep Nathan sane for that long in a car, so if you have any ideas let me know!! I'm am so dreading it. Anyway, we have been trying to get things packed and ready...not fun! I just hope we will be ready in time. As for other things Nathan turned two on tuesday the 29th! It is crazy to think we have a two year old. He is growing up so fast. He is such a cute, fun little boy, and is such a joy in our lives! For his birthday we gave him a basketball hoop that he has absolutely loved. He plays so hard that his face sweats, and is actually pretty good at making baskets! He had so much fun with his friends and cousins at his party! Thanks so much everyone for coming and for the gifts! Well I have a lot more I could write but I guess I have a lot to get done, so this will have to do for now. I probably won't get another post done before we leave, but hopefully we will get internet soon after we move because I'm sure everyone will be dying to read our blog haha! I will be the one dying without my blogging! Goodbye for now!
Once again, another slide show because I took too many pics!
Actually pics will come later because this is taking way too long! Good Night!

Oh man, a 21 hour drive with a 2 year old is probably going to be pretty interesting...good luck with that! How exciting to be moving this week, you guys are in for such an adventure. I bet you'll love it in St. Louis. I can't wait to see pictures!
hey tina, how fun! i understand your worries about traveling with nathan, we drove to columbus, OH, the summer after gracie turned 1 so she wouldn't watch movies yet, we just had lots of toys and snacks and stopped at the sights along the way and somehow we made it without very much crying. if you look at the blog on my list named "The coleman's est 2003" they just made that trip to utah and back from st louis and made some interesting stops, you could check them out. :) i'm really excited for you, anywhere you live you can find good and bad but i think you'll be able to make it a fun couple of years out there. one thing that i loved was the rain storms, there is nothing like them anywhere else and especially not in utah. missouri just has their own kind of rain. its cool. good luck!!!
Good Luck!! I know the feeling of a move, especially far away. When we first moved to New Mexico, I cried as soon as we drove into town, mostly cuz I thought the place was a hole! You learn to make the best of life and enjoy what you've got...and you'll have big city livin'!! We look at our moves as adventures...we've had far too many:) A portable DVD player is a lifesaver, well worth the money for long drives....Taylor loves it and does really well on long trips with it! Good luck and I cant wait to see the new place:0)
Oh, I don't even want to think about you guys going! We are going to miss you guys so much! That's right, we really will be dying to see your blog pages so you better get the internet soon!!! Good luck guys, we will be thinking of you and you will be in our prayers.
I can't believe you are moving so soon. It will be a fun new adventure. I kind of wish we had something new to look forward to. Maybe after Shea finishes school.
We will sure miss you guys when you're gone. Nathan is going to get so big and change so much before we see him again. It's a good thing for blogs, huh?? You guys will have so much fun!
Good luck on your trip. We luckily made the trip to Kansas when Nyah was 5 months old. So it was actually pretty easy! Hope everything goes well and you have no car trouble!
Wow, you're leaving so soon! Maybe you won't get this comment in time, but just in case, here's what we do to survive long drives. Marissa is right, portable DVD players are worth it, or if you have a laptop get an adapter to plug it into the car. And when all else fails and you or Nathan can't stand it anymore, take a break. We always just want the drive to be over with ASAP, but taking some time out can keep everyone sane. Driving all night while Kylee slept was really nice, as long as caffeine, sunflowers seeds, etc can keep you awake. I get so worried about long drives too, but the good news is it's never as bad as i fear! Good luck!
