A few weeks ago we decided to set up our tent and camp in the backyard. We bought a tent atleast 4 years ago and had never used it, so we thought it was about time! We had dinner, played around, roasted marshmallows for s'mores, and then were all set and ready for bed! By now it was about 11:00. We were watching a movie in the tent when a little while later Josh went to get something out of the house and found the door locked. We were locked out of every door and window in our house! We had been going in and out of our sliding door in the back and had just kept it open until we were ready for bed, and it locked when I shut it to go out for the last time. We have a wooden dowel in the sliding door tracking (or whatever it's called) and Josh had leaned it up against the door while we were hanging out. Apparently when I shut the door it fell down and blocked the door from opening! Aahhh! Neither of us had our phones, but luckily I had grabbed my ipod, so Ian just played on that until he fell asleep. :) It was a long, memorable night! The next morning we were able to get someone to come and unlock our front door for us by about 9:30. We were so glad to get back inside...especially me since my bladder can't hold too much these days! :)
