2nd haircut
(Nov. 3)
We gave Ian his second haircut when he was about 6 1/2 months old. It didn't need much but Josh insisted that we cut it:)
Halloween
Nathan decided he wanted to be a ghost this year so I got a sheet and made a quick costume for him. Luckily he loved it and made a cute little ghost! He was scaring us all night:) A couple days before Halloween I found a cute little pumkin costume for Ian at a thrift store that was practically brand new! He was super cute in it! We went to our ward trunk or treat on friday night, which Nathan loved, then had fun with some friends over for dinner and games on Halloween night. Can't believe we only had one trick or treater come! And it was a teenager!
6 months and crawling!
Ian started officially crawling at about 6 months. He started sitting up and crawling at about the same time:) Every time I would see him get up and crawl I just couldn't believe it! He's so tiny it's just weird to see him crawling already. Nathan didn't crawl until about 9 months! I guess Ian just wants to try to keep up with his big brother! We went to the park one night and took a few pics of the boys that I thought turned out pretty cute!

Eckert's again!
(Oct. 16)
We went back to Eckert's and took Josh. We went on a wagon ride, watched pig races, went down a huge underground slide, watched pumpkins get launched, picked a few apples, and picked a pumpkin! It was such a fun day! Nathan even got picked to help with the pumpkin launching!
Cute little Ian
Just some pics of my little baby who is growing up way too fast! He is 5 months in these and was already getting up on his hands and knees! He would get up then flop forward onto his belly and get up again. Kinda like a worm I guess! So this little guy was getting around at five months! Way too soon! Crazy!

No more training wheels!!
Nathan learned to ride his bike without training wheels in September! He learned so fast! Josh only held onto him a couple times then he wanted to do it himself and has been doing great! His bike is a little too big for him to touch the ground so we borrowed a smaller one from a friend so now he can start and stop all by himself and loves it!
Apple pickin'
(Sept. 27)
We went to Eckert's with some friends to pick apples and had a great time! It is such a fun little place, I can't believe this was our first time going in the whole time we've lived here!
Things that go...
(Sept. 25)
The school district had an activity for the kids to go learn about 'things that go.' They had a bus, tractors, ambulance, fire trucks, tow truck and more that I can't remember. By the time we got there it was almost over but Nathan still had a fun time. Oh and we are famous now! A lady from the school was taking pictures and Nathan and I made it in the school paper:)

Balloon Glow
(Sept. 17, 2010)
We went to the Balloon Glow back in September but it turned out to be a not so great experience. We thought we left home with plenty of time but ended up still hitting traffic and were in it for about three hours. Luckily the kids were both good! So by the time we got there it was dark and there was nowhere to park. So Josh dropped the kids and me off and went to park. Well the plan was just to call each other and meet up but it turned out there were so many people there that cell phones weren't working. Talk about scary!! Me and the kids in the dark with thousands and thousands of people!! I tried and tried to call and text Josh and some of our friends who were there but nothing would go through. I was getting very nervous and scared! I asked other people if their phones were working and if I could use it but no luck. Well I finally ended up getting one text from my friend Heather who was there telling me they were at a certain balloon and that Josh was with them. So I went to that balloon but could not find them still!! I just kept thinking how in the world am I ever going to find Josh. I have no idea where the car is either. I will just have to wait here until all of these millions of people go home! Scary! Well finally my prayers were answered and I spotted Heather and then Josh. What a relief! I don't think I've ever been so happy to see two people I knew:) So anyway it was not a good experience up to this point. By then it was time to watch the fireworks and go home. So we sat with our friends and watched the fireworks, with Nathan covering his ears the whole time, and then went home. I was too frazzled to get any pictures of the balloons but did get a few after we were reunited:) Next year we will get there earlier and stay together!

There's also another post below this one with family pics and pics of Ian at 4 months!! :)
