one big long post!

Well here is an extremely long post with a ton of pictures of what's been going on. Hope you can make it to the end!

First off-the fourth of July! We didn't do much but still enjoyed our day. We were trying to deal with our car getting the AC fixed but we managed to get out a little. Our ward had a yummy pancake breakfast that morning and then that night we went and watched some awesome fireworks and hung out with some awesome friends! We had quite a big group get together for the fireworks! And the heat and humidity just kept getting worse as the night went on! Nathan still hates fireworks so Josh got him some earplugs before they started. So he wore those and he still covered his ears too! Ian just sat there with wide eyes during the fireworks!

And now a bunch of random pictures!

Pretty sure this is my first picture of Nathan holding Ian. This kid never lets me take pictures of him anymore. Josh had to distract him so I could take this one!
Ian's first time swimming! At first he wasn't really a fan, but soon he got used to it and actually fell asleep!

One morning I squished the kids in the stroller and walked to the park to meet some friends. We made it there but it was ridiculously hot so we got a ride home!

Nathan actually let me take one picture of him smiling! And then of course he had to be silly:)
Ian is loving sucking on his hands! Today he was even sucking on his thumb for a minute! Cute!
A group of us girls have been doing a craft/project day a couple of times a month and I love it!! We have done some really fun and cute things! Thanks girls!! (We've been missing you Heather:))
So sweet! Sleeping peacefully...

Saturday we gave Ian his first haircut...well it really wasn't much of a haircut! I just wanted to get a few really long ones on top, not really get rid of anything else. So Josh used the longest attatchment on the clippers and went over his head. It barely took anything off but it looks better now with those super long ones evened out. It wasn't short enough to get rid of his little mullet in the back though:) He did really good and didn't even cry, just didn't know what was going on! Oh and he's not too big of a fan of the bumbo yet. He'll sit in there for a couple minutes and then he's done.

These pictures were yesterday after church. See you can't even tell we cut his hair:)
Phew!!!! I think I'm caught up on my pictures now! But not for long. Nathan's birthday is on thursday (can't believe he'll be 4!), dr. appointments and shots for both kids on friday:(, and saturday the kids and I head to Utah!!!!! Much more excitement to come in future posts I'm sure!! Wish me luck flying with two kids..I'm a little nervous! But we can't wait!

such cute pics! Your boys are so adorable! Good luck flying! I think the hardest part of flying with two kids is going through security and boarding the plane. Mostly because you have to take the baby out of the car seat/stroller and still have to keep hold of the other child and carry your stuff. I know you probably already are prepared for all that, but when I did it I learned that I wish I would have had my baby bjorn carrier for Payten. It would have made a few things a little more simple.
