Thursday morning Nathan and I went to the arch with some friends. We walked around and took some pictures and then went inside the museum. Nathan was a major grump all morning due to being awake half the night because of a crazy thunderstorm, but was finally happy for about 2 minutes when he got to see the talking mannequins. He thought they were pretty cool and kept wanting to see the 'funny guys'! This was only our first time actually going to the arch, after living here for a year. Crazy I know! Thanks for inviting us Meghanne!! We had lots of fun, even though Nathan was a little stinker.
Of course Josh didn't get to go because he was in school...taking his last final for the semester!!! Hooray!!! He did so awesome this semester and I'm so proud of him! Way to go Josh!! So now we will have to take him to the arch while he has a break for a couple weeks. Speaking of break, it probably won't be much of one with everything that we have going on. Right now we are in the middle of packing our apartment to move into a house next wednesday the 26th. It is cheaper, it has a little yard, and has more space so that will be nice. Oh and no more three flights of stairs!!! So we will stay pretty busy with packing, cleaning, unpacking and such. Then Nathan has surgery on monday the 31st. He has a communicating hydrocele, let's just say a 'boy problem', so it is about an hour surgery then a few hours in recovery. I'm getting a little nervous for this. It's going to be so sad, but it will be nice to have it taken care of. So hopefully everything will go smoothly with that and then we will have about a week to finish up with stuff and have a little fun before school starts again on sept. 9th. Then Nathan and I take off for UTAH on the 16th of Sept!!! We get to go visit and hang out for a few weeks before my brothers leave for their missions. Unfortunately Josh doesn't get to go because of school :( He'll probably get a lot done here without us distracting him every 5 minutes. Anyway, that is what we'll be up to for the next few weeks. So after wednesday we won't have internet...but hopefully we'll be able to get it all figured out and hooked up soon so I can keep up with everyone!
