On our way home from the store on Saturday night we saw this fun car bed leaning by the dumpster, not in it...and it was in great condition! We debated on whether or not to get it, (we were soo embarrassed), but decided we might as well forget about our pride and see if it would work for us. One man's trash is another man's treasure right! So we took it, cleaned it off real good, and set it up in Nathan's room. It is a lot bigger than I thought it would be, but he has loved it so far. The only sad thing is that the bed really doesn't match his sports stickers that we just put on the walls. Oh well I guess. He loves the ball stickers and he loves the car, so I guess it will just be mis-matched. We still need to get a mattress for it, but Nathan insists on sleeping in it on the floor. But guess what!...he actually has slept through the night every night in it so far, (knock on wood) which he wasn't doing in his other bed. He was waking up usually twice a night, so that has been nice for all of us. He's also had a lot of fun playing in it, and he loves to have Josh and I go for rides with him in his car!

That is awesome! And it is my kind of shopping too. I can not believe how nice it is and that someone was throwing it out. It does look brand new. I am glad it has helped him sleep in his room. Very cool!

ha ha. Awesome. Remember when we would spend all day in your mom's car and pretend we were going to hawaii with our little dolls. Cars rule when you are little!

I think the cheaper you can get things, the better they are. So for free? Totally awesome. Did I tell you in my last town, they had a whole month where people leave whatever they don't want anymore on their lawns? Everyone drives around checking out and digging through each other's garbage. You would be shocked at what you can find! {Shocked in a good and bad way :) }
