What we've been up to

This morning Nathan woke up at 6:30 when Josh was leaving for school and wouldn't go back to sleep, so I told him to stay on the couch and I would turn a movie on for him. So Nathan was (supposedly) watching a movie on the couch while I was trying to sleep on the living room floor. The first time I woke up he was eating some spicy chicken he found in the fridge, which was of course burning his mouth, so he got some juice out of the fridge and started drinking that to cool his mouth off. I guess I fell asleep again and then later I heard him doing something in the kitchen, so I looked and found him sitting on the floor with the lemon juice! I don't think he drank very much, but there sure was a lot on the floor! A few days ago we let him try some lemon juice, and got a really funny reaction from him, but he didn't like it so I am surprised he wanted it again. I guess I will have to start hiding the lemon juice now! Anyway, I guess I can't leave him unattended for very long or who knows what will happen next!

Here are pictures of some of the other things we have been up to at our house lately...

Playing in the rain,
Making treats for Daddy...

and licking the beaters,Trying to get a "real smile" picture of Nathan,And loving the party blower and balloon from a friend's birthday party!

Nothing too exciting going on around here, but that's ok I guess! Josh is super busy with school, right now he is doing Midterms, so life as a family has been crazy. He is doing well in school and is enjoying it, so that is definitely good! As for me and Nathan, we have been enjoying our time together playing with friends from our ward and also just with each other. Nathan is growing up so much, so fast, and is such a joy in our lives. He is such an independent little guy and loves to help mom and dad with anything and everything. We are enjoying life here in St. Louis but are sure missing all of our family and friends. Hope everything is going well for all of you!
